Brandt is a child of the Cape Town region. She grew up in Cape Town South Africa with her siblings and parents, immigrated into Auckland New Zealand when she was a teenager. Discovered by local casting directors Brandt took on the role of Naevia on the Starz hits Spartacus: Blood and Sand and Spartacus: Gods of the Arena. She was one of the main stars of this series, working alongside Steven S. D Knight & Sam Raimi. She starred in the hit Netflix series Lucifer that ran for a six years run as the fan favorite Vertigo/DC comic book character Mazikeen. Forbes identified Lucifer as their number one television show to watch for binge watching in 2021. Brandt's next appearance is in the six-episode Walking Dead spinoff in 2024 alongside Andrew Lincoln and Danai Gurrira. In the July 2023 Netflix adult-oriented comedy Captain Fall, Brandt stars with Jason Ritter Anthony Carrigan Chris Meloni. Lesley Ann Brandt was born on the 2nd of December, 1981 in Cape Town South Africa. She is a highly skilled New Zealand actor. Lesley Brandt and her family relocated to Auckland in New Zealand in the year 1999. She began her career within Auckland as a retail store owner, and was then promoted to an IT management consultant.
